A drumming body is like a well oiled machine.

While drumming, a drummer is busy coordinating his limbs in an efficient manner, just as different departments in any organization must work together. Drummers and businesses are always searching for the right balance between all the tasks.

The bass-drum is somewhat like the manager, responsible for the
tempo and direction of the company. The snare drum, is similar to the
management-assistants, together with the manager responsible for the
basic rhythm in the organization. They need supporting-assistance,
from hi-hat and cymbals to do their job. The tom-toms fill in the
creative/development part of the company.

All the limbs, like all the departments have one goal, a swinging rhythm to achieve the goal, which is a recognizable powerful final-product.

I'm convinced that customers feel the difference, if the product is coming from an organization that is swinging in a collective motion.

In this workshop all the members play a part of the drum kit and will recognize the difference between not only doing a task, but being part of something bigger on their own stage in the workplace.

Een drummend lichaam is als een goedlopende organisatie. De ledematen zijn de verschillende afdelingen die goed aangestuurd en gecoördineerd moeten worden. Hoe beter de afdelingen in staat zijn op het juiste moment hun taak uit te voeren des te swingender het ritme klinkt.

Ook in een organisatie moeten de diverse disciplines in balans zijn om een werkend geheel te krijgen. Samenwerken en als team opereren bepalen in belangrijke mate het succes.

In deze workshop staat het swingende ritme symbool voor een goed lopende efficiënte organisatie.
